Anticipated Season Budget – Estimated annual $2,000 – Fall ($500); Winter ($500); Spring/Summer ($1,000). Team fundraising is also a consideration. Additional private programming/coaching is extra.


Commitment vs. Interest

When you’re interested in something, you only do it when it’s convenient. When you’re committed to something, you manage your situation, avoid conflicts and get it done. We ask players and families to make the Sage program a commitment. Softball is a team sport and all players/coaches rely on each other to be present together. Side work is not a substitute for teamwork. 

Commitment for this team is not ‘till death do us part’, but it is for the 2019/20 season. Planned family events are manageable with advance notice. We expect families to fully participate in all team events, but understand that life is complex and absences are a reality. We will schedule team activities in advance and will manage for periods where families can plan travel. If many conflicts are already known or advance notice is not possible, then you may be “interested” instead of “committed”. Please consider this carefully.
